Circus posters and carnival print

The 'Circus Posters' wallpaper represents the advertisement side of the circus and has been inspired by vintage posters. The fabric alongside the wallpaper is called the 'Carnival', this print brings the story outside of the circus tent and puts into perspective the whole circus and carnival setting.

Stacie Richards

Stacie is a textiles student specialising in print design. Throughout this project she has rediscovered the 19th century circus and carnival scene to create a cohesive interior collection for modern and eccentric hotels.

‘The Forgotten Circus’ is based on the rediscovering of the 19th century circus and carnivals and to bring them into the 21st. The concept has developed so much over time and this project goes back to where it all began, back to the Barnum and Bailey shows. This Spring/Summer 21 interior collection is based from the weird and wonderful aspects of the circus for a circus themed hotel targeted at adult families. Stacie has used both screen and digital prints for her collection as well as introducing the skill of pyrography to give that element of surprise within a room. After graduating Stacie is aspiring to go into a creative job role within the world of home and interiors.
