Momentum festival of creative expression
The creative industry and the corporate world inhabit an equally shared but divided space within the economy. Creatives working for or alongside corporate identities can cause friction and divided opinions on both sides about ideas, process, outcomes, strategies etc. Momentum festival takes all areas classified as the “arts” under one banner and opens a dialogue between creatives to develop knowledge and understanding of cohesive relationships between both areas of the economy.
Momentum aims to bring all of these professions together for talks workshops, live Q&A’s with different topics that all creative professions will find interesting and engaging. Each creative has their own opinion and angle at the debate, we invite you to attend, listen, debate, collaborate, meet alike minds and gain the power of creative expression.

Starting with the view of the constantly fluctuating metaphor for the creative mind, we explore the pool where creatives and corporate minds interact. Starting with the metamorphose of collaboration and teamwork. Before analysing the more negative aspects of the relationships with fracture opposing opinions creating collisions and a problem with the fabric of the relationship.

Influential musician archive
Poignant musicians, past and present, are collated to establish connections within the musical arts in the musical language and socio-economic backgrounds. Showcasing the famous and influential musicians who are lost within the noise of modern music platforms.
The archive has been created by musicians and modern cultural historians. Most importantly, the archive is an open call, the platform encourages viewers to recommend the poignant musicians within their lifetime and rate the current connections between artists in the archive.
Expand the archive.

Momentum festival - festival programme
Alterra modular typography has been fragmented and used to gain attention of the viewer making them focus on what we are offering. Photography of the speakers has been used throughout but intentionally cropped in unusual angles to create interesting areas of negative space.

Momentum festival - printed posters
Digital content should be used wherever possible, where this cannot be printed material replaces it. Printed media has a content structure in order to advertise specific parts of Momentum.

Experience
During my time with BURN I worked directly with the Creative Director on projects for clients such as the British Heart Foundation, Fisher-Price, Kind, Reactive Technologies and Pipedrive, as both a visual designer and conceptual developer. While working with existing brands, I gained experience working to guidelines both extensive and limited. These projects allowed me to develop skills within animation and storytelling, while working on live briefs making me learn faster with the guidance from senior designers and animators which broadened my skill set. I produced work with the following outcomes; branding, animation, social media, UI/UX, CRM, while also developing my strategic design thinking and presentation skills.
