Alyssa Dabbs

Contemporary abstract artist who has sold work worldwide. As seen in Vogue.

Primacy of mark making and raw expression is fundamental to my practice. Alongside my degree I have continued to sell work worldwide and regularly exhibit my work. In January 2020 I had a Solo Exhibition consisting of over 30 paintings. My paintings have been exhibited alongside to artists such as Howard Hodgkin, Joan Miró, David Shrigley, Martin Creed, Barbara Hepworth, Jeff Koons, Yinka Shonibare, Pablo Picasso and Antony Gormley.

Experience

During 2019, I opened my own art gallery ‘Fence Gallery’ which I open weekly. The gallery gives me an opportunity present my paintings to the public on a permanently. The public’s engagement and reaction to my work and the gallery is fascinating and further enables my development as an artist as I am regularly speaking about my practice to a varied audience. Fence Gallery, 3 Lansdown, Stroud, GL5 1BB.

Current Representation: Zuleika Gallery, London.
Previous representation: New York Art Gallery, NYC.
