My placement year allowed me to grow as a person, gaining real-world experience working as a junior digital marketing executive for a large franchising company in the Middle East supporting 90 plus brands and the
digital marketing team to execute their marketing initiatives. The experience I gained gave me insight into the digital marketing industry. My knowledge grew in search engine optimisation (SEO), Google Ads, Business Ads Manager which are essential in paid social media marketing. Able to identify opportunities in my chosen industry -
acknowledging that the digital marketing industry is the topic of discussion in the advertisement world and companies are now focusing more on their online marketing strategies.

My determination and passion to succeed are reflected in my decision to spend a placement year in Kuwait to learn about the ME market which is rapidly developing. Kuwait gave me a cultural experience that reflected my ability to adapt to different circumstances. Experience in collaborating and working within a team effectively - I have worked with the CRM/D team on my placement planning, executing and analysing digital marketing campaigns where I played a key role in executing the media plans on ad buying software. My conscientiousness was recognised by my
peers and the management team, along with my punctuality and strong work ethic.
