Felicite
Felicite is an organisation that aims to encourage people to start conversations with each other, tell stories of our lives to help each other, share our knowledge and provide advice. The first service provided is the app I designed, which allows users to share their stories.
Felicite screens
The organisation would also have a website that I also designed. The website allowed for more information to reach the users, as well as showing all public stories as well as the most recent stories.
Felicite
I wanted people to start conversations with each other. The idea is that Felicite will help users with their self-esteem and overall mental health.
Poster series
To advertise the app and organisation, I created a poster series that could successfully portray the concept of starting conversations, the personal stories published and the main things you can do with the app i.e talk, share, connect, create.
Branding guidelines
For Felicite, I also created branding guidelines for the organisation which included colour, typography, tone of voice and the logo.
App advertisement
I created app advertisement posters in a set of four which could be used on their own or as a set. They used the same colour palette as a brand which helps keep everything coherent.
Latest stories
This is a mockup of my website with latest stories available for people to view. I have three stories already made as examples for my app/website. These can be viewed on my website. They are written by real people; Lydia, Rahul, and Katharine.
Lydia
This is an example of one of the posters I created for a snapshot of stories that would be available. This is a brief section of Lydia's story that would be available on the website and the app.
Eleanor Smith
After spending my initial education doing Fine Art projects, I work now to digitally problem solve. During my time on the Graphic Communication and Illustration course, I have taken an interest in User Experience Design.
The majority of my work during my final year has looked at creating services and interfaces.
I am a very conscientious, productive designer who looks at new ways of solving current problems. In the past I have looked at creating mental health support products, apps to support teachers and young children with mathematical learning and assembled figurative organisations to aid conversations within an online community. I try to keep in mind the boundaries of culture and reason when creating my outcomes as I train myself to be a designer that can integrate well into any professional field. I thoroughly enjoy creating, designing, and imagining; maybe one day my work can make a positive difference nationally or internationally.

Experience
Alongside my coursework, I do lots of volunteering for the Students' Union. I took part in LSU Media since arriving at Loughborough University and this year I have been on the executive committee as the Head of Design, Online, and Marketing. A lot of the work I have done for LSU Media consisted of photography, video editing, and branding. Commissions I have completed include photo shoots for businesses and rebranding. My most recent work outside of my degree was for a tearoom in Norfolk. I updated their menus, created a new website, and took part in a photoshoot to showcase their variety of food and drinks. At the moment I am helping them with photography for their charity recipe book coming out this year.
