GRIP case
GRIP is an ongoing university project. The idea behind the project was to create something that would make a climber’s life easier. Climbing tape is used by every climber, but cutting the tape can be tricky. Normally climbers recur to using their teeth to cut it. With GRIP case climbers can now carry their tape with them while keeping it clean, safe and being able to cut it using the case’s plastic teeth.

ChalkHere
ChalkHere is a bouldering app designed by climbers. With ChalkHere climbers can now find new boulders to climb, not only filtering them by grade, but also by location. The app lets climbers create new boulders and routes they find, and compete against each other by who has the fastest times. The more you climb the more badges the climber has.

Experience
After my first three years in Loughborough University I decided to do a placement year, where I initially got to work for Jelingu Creates in London as a full-time graphic and web designer, and later on promoted to leader graphic designer where I was not only leading projects, but also responsible for giving guidance to the other interns. Besides my work at Jelingu, I also got to work for Loughborough University Creative and Print Services as a graphic designer and web designer. Here I got to learn more about the world branding creating content to a top UK university, from posters and booklets to designing the University’s home page.
