The poisons of Agatha Christie
The Poisons of Agatha Christie is an interactive experience for fans of Agatha Christie featured on the official website agathachristie.com. The illustrations are based on her books and the use of poison within them, the most used weapon in her stories. As part of a celebration of 100 years since her first published novel, the site will give users insights into the inspiration behind the poisons in the novel and some real life cases which could have influenced Christie.

Flashback- celebrating life in 1960's Leicester
Flashback is a celebration of the history of St. Georges Cultural Quarter in Leicester City Centre. The festival encourages the Leicester community to gain knowledge of the people who lived and the events that took place in the space they now reside in.
Orton Square structure design
This structure is designed to be the centrepiece of the festival. The illustrations portray stories from the different locations around the area and specific events that took place. For example, pictured on the right of the structure are The Supremes arriving to perform at the old Odeon Cinema.
Trail location Palais De Danse
The Palais De Danse is the old dancehall where the 'lunchtime dances' would draw in crowds on a Friday. The illustration, which would form part of the trail, portrays women running back to work and a couple by a bus stop wrapping around the walls of the building. Also shown is a typography led poster featuring some of the illustrations interacting with the letters in the title.
Palais De Danse magazine spread
A zine would be created to support the trail locations as part of Flashback Festival.

Lauren Jefferis
Focusing on illustration, my work has a strong theme of storytelling through a combination of line, texture and colour. I enjoy illustrating for a large range of topics and I have tackled two tonally different projects within my final year.
Upon graduation, I will continue to run my business Pickle Illustration which I began in 2018 with fellow alumni Olivia Collins. We are based in the midlands and offer creative solutions to businesses through bespoke and lively illustrations. Both of us are excited to see where this opportunity will take us and are enjoying the experience of working with a diverse range of clients on a wide range of projects from murals to editorial illustration.
