Mary McMorrow

Mary specialises in Woven Textiles with skills in jacquard design, drawing and hand weaving.

'Hues of Blue' is inspired by research into the associations surrounding the colour blue and its psychological effects on human emotion. This combined with the study of holistic plants informed visual research for the project. Using only responsibly sourced, natural fibres ensures the collection is as sustainable as possible. Designed for a space that promotes relaxation; sheer wall hangings and jacquard upholstery fabric make up a versatile collection suitable for interiors. Upon graduating, Mary is hoping to continue her education in postgraduate study.
