Hidden Stories brings to life and juxtaposes the traditional and modern aspects of India. The collection elegantly displays the traditional and modern sides of India together through a high-end interiors collection that consists of luxury fabric furnishing and wallpapers prints. The collection delves into the traditional and modern stories of India, that explores historical architectures and rural landscapes against technological influences and decorative Indian trucks. The prints explore conversational designs through detailed hand painted imagery that discover untold stories. These are contrasted with bold geometrics for a contemporary look. Both fabric printing and digital techniques are used, involving abilities such as CAD for complex repeat and an array of hand drawing styles to create sophisticated and refined prints. The collection comes together with the use of rich colours with tonal values and pops of bright colours influenced by the Indian culture. Ritu aims to progress into a career within the interiors and design world.
