Bright future
Through the use of photography, my work aims to explore the feeling of doubt of confusion felt by myself and my generation. By experimenting with blurring and layering each photograph act as a mirror to my thoughts and express my feeling of confusion surrounding my future. Evolving from my original use of filters, my recent photographs play with the idea of reflecting my local landscape. To create each piece, I photograph the landscape through stencils and viewfinders made from different mirrored materials. This technique produces landscapes that are fragmented and disjointed enabling the viewer to experience the world through my eyes.
